Mass vaccination clinic resume in northwest Missouri this week.

Holt County will host a COVID-19 vaccine clinic in Mound City Thursday, the 11th. Andrew County Health Department Administrator Andrew Hoffman says the Holt County event is no longer on Thursday and Friday.

"The Holt County event has been moved to a one-day event," Hoffman tells St. Joseph Post. "That's March 11th from 10 to 3."

Hoffman says this is a first-dose vaccine clinic.

"I do believe that's gonna be a Johnson and Johnson so that should be a one-time vaccination for that event," says Hoffman.

Cameron High School is hosting their second dose Mass Vaccination event this weekend on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Hoffman says this event is for people who received their first dose at Cameron High School.

"Saturday's a booster event," says Hoffman. "It's for a second dose and that's gonna be in Cameron."

Hoffman says the health Region H has administered 12 thousand vaccines so far.

"We're looking forward to serving more community members as they're moving down through the tiers and hopefully get everybody taken care of that's wanting the vaccination," says Hoffman.

Hoffman says to sign up for your vaccine go to Vaccine Navigator.
