Donnie E. Long, 53, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Thursday, November 20, 2025 in St. Joseph.
He was born January 18, 1972 in Atchison, KS, son of Betty and Russell Long. Donnie attended Hiawatha High School, and he was a Mechanic. He enjoyed fishing, and working on about anything outdoors.
Donnie was preceded in death by father, Russell Long.
Survivors include: mother, Betty Clements of Kansas City, KS, daughters, Jaidlynne Mallory of Atchison, KS, and Jaycee Long of St. Joseph, sisters, Rebecca (Chris) Lance of Skidmore, MO and Melissa (Greg) Steingass of Holgate, OH, brothers, Rusty Long of Ohio, Michael Blunt of Falls City, NE, and Terry Blunt of Kansas City, KS, grandsons, Shawn and Beckett, and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Long has been cremated under the care of Rupp Funeral Home. The family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date. Memorials are requested to the Donnie Long Memorial Fund, c/o Rupp Funeral Home.
