James “Jimmy” Arthur Bauer, age 91, was born on August 2, 1934, in Stewartsville, Missouri, the son of Arthur William and Nellie Mae (Cook) Bauer. He passed away peacefully with his family by his side on November 9, 2025.
Jimmy married Juletta Fisher on June 26, 1954, in Easton, Missouri, and together they welcomed five children. He worked for Seitz Meat Packing in St. Joseph, Missouri, dedicating more than 30 years of service before retiring.
Jimmy had a deep love for Country Western music, and he and Juletta often traveled to see their favorite bands. They shared a joy for dancing and created cherished memories together on the dance floor. Jimmy was also well known for his talents in gardening, woodworking, and showing Tennessee Walking Horses. Above all, he treasured every moment spent with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Juletta Ann (Fisher) Bauer; son Dennis Bauer; grandson Andy Bauer; and sister Verna (Glen) Cornelius.
Survivors include four children: James W. Bauer (Janet), Joe Bauer (Kathy), Glenda Wilson (Dean), and Janell Becerra (Jimmy); eleven grandchildren—T.J., Michaela, Dan, Dustin, Darbi, Jason, Sarah, Matthew, Cruz, Roman, and Alissa; twelve great-grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at Saint Joseph’s Cemetery in Easton, Missouri. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at Turner Family Funeral Home of Stewartsville, with a Rosary starting at 5:30 p.m.
