Rebecca L. Lackey, 68, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Friday, October 10, 2025.
She was born March 24, 1957 and adopted by James D. Sampson and Jacqueline A. (Dittemore) Dailing in Heidelberg, Germany.
Rebecca married Leland Chester Leroy Lackey on January 28, 2003. He passed away on June 10, 2006.
She was a member of the New Life Bible Church.
Rebecca enjoyed knitting, crocheting, sewing, cooking, and her cats.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband; brothers, Bob Dailing and James D. Sampson II.
Survivors include her Church family and friends.
Memorial Service pending. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Rebecca’s Funeral Fund.
