BUCHANAN COUNTY—Two people were injured in an accident just before 3p.m. Wednesday in Buchanan County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2012 Ford Taurus driven by a 56-year-old St. Joseph man was northbound on the entrance lane to Interstate 29 from eastbound U.S. 36 in St. Joseph. The car rear-ended a 2025 Nissan Sentra driven by a 40-year-old St. Joseph man. The impact pushed the Nisan into the back of a 2007 Toyota Prius driven by a 37-year-old St. Joseph man.
Buchanan County EMS transported the driver of the Nissan and a 30-year-old passenger in the Prius to Mosaic Life Care. All three were properly restrained, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
