NODAWAY COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 8:30a.m. Saturday in Nodaway County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2005 Ford Focus driven by a 17-year-old Parnell boy was westbound on 275th Street one half mile east of Maryville.
The car crossed the centerline and struck an eastbound 2014 Ford Escape driven by Melissa S. Tyler, 40, Maryville, head-on.
Nodaway County EMS transported the teen driver to Mosaic Maryville. Tyler was not injured. The teen driver was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
