BUCHANAN COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 4p.m. Thursday in Buchanan County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2018 Freightliner Cascadia driven by Davinder Singh, 46, Abbots Ford, British Columbia, was southbound on Interstate 29 just north of the U.S. 36 exit. The semi rear-ended a 2020 GMC Savana driven by John M. Boggust, 55, Omaha, Nebraska.
The impact pushed the van into the rear of a 2020 Jeep Compass driven by Brett D. Clary, 36, Troy, Kansas. The van then traveled off the road and overturned.
Buchanan County EMS transported Singh to Mosaic Life Care. All three drivers were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
