We have seen a rise in COVID-19 cases locally along with an increase in the positivity rate.
The St. Joseph Health Department reports 259 new coronavirus cases since issuing its last report on Thursday. The Buchanan County positivity rate has increased near three percent to just under 14%.
Northwest Missouri remains a COVID hotspot.
Mosaic Life Care reports it is treating 62 total COVID-19 patients in its system; 57 in St. Joseph and five in Maryville.
Andrew County reports 100 active COVID-19 cases.
