Cynthia Gale (Peek) Schopfer-DeShon passed away unexpectedly on May 3, 2025 at the family home.

Gale was born on December 17, 1955 to William Peek and Frances (Quick) Noland in Seattle, Washington.

Gale married Gaylen Schopfer April 3, 1971. Where she farmed beside him and her father-in-law until both their deaths in 1991 and 2003. She was a homemaker and an employee of the Savannah School District.

Gale married Bradley DeShon February 12, 2005. Where she continued to be a homemaker and farmed beside him until death.

She is survived by: her husband Bradley; three children Brandon (Keri) Schopfer, Wesley (Jenni) Schopfer, Brittney (Charlie) Tucker all of Savannah, and Myria DeShon of Florida; eight grandchildren; one brother Bill (Christina) Peek of St. Joseph; two sisters Pam (Mike) Wright of Savannah, Juli Noland of St. Joseph, and many nieces and nephews.  Gale is preceded in death by: her father, mother, sister Melissa, and first husband.

Gale was a woman of many talents and skills. She was known for her seamstress skills, cooking, and love of gardening. She loved her family very much and became a lover of small dogs in her later years.

Visitation and family receiving hour will be 9:00am-10:00am Wednesday May 7, 2025 At Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah, MO.  Funeral services will be 10:00am Wednesday May 7, 2025 At Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home.  Burial will follow the services at Savannah Cemetery in Savannah, MO.
