Jennifer A. Schwab, 41, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Friday, October 27, 2023, after a four-year battle with ALL (a form of leukemia).
She was born July 12, 1982 in Independence, Missouri to Kenneth and Charlene (Swift) Meyer. Jennifer attended Buhler High School, then Hutchinson High School, where she graduated in 2001.
Jennifer studied at Northeast Kansas Technical College, then worked as an LPN for many years, first at Hutchinson Clinic, then at Friendship Mennonite Communities and lastly, at Ascension Via Christi.
She enjoyed gardening, traveling and cooking, and loved spending time with family and friends. She was always there for them.
She was preceded in death by her son, Brendan; brother, Nathan Meyer; grandparents, Alfred Meyer, Elmer and Doris Swift; and aunt, Doretta Swift.
Survivors include her parents; step-granddaughter Haverleigh Schwab and her family; sister, Stacy Valgerie (Tracy); grandmother, Mary Ann Meyer; 13 aunts and uncles and their families; numerous cousins and friends.
Memorial Services and Public Livestream 11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 18, St. Joseph Restoration Branch. The family will gather with friends one hour prior to the service.
