CLINTON COUNTY—Three people were injured in an accident just after 10a.m. Friday in Clinton County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2024 Volvo semi driven by a 47-year-old from Geneva, Illinois, was northbound on Interstate 35 three miles north of Lathrop.
The semi rear-ended a 1999 Ford F250 driven by a 69-year-old man from Lathrop. After impact the Ford skidded sideways, rolled and struck the towed unit of a northbound 2025 Freightliner semi.
EMS transported the driver of the Volvo, the pickup and a 59-year-old passenger in the Ford to Liberty Hospital. All three were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
