CLINTON COUNTY—Two people were injured in an accident just before 5p.m. Thursday in Clinton County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2011 Toyota Camry driven by Ledina Dzilic, 31, Kansas City, Mo., was southbound on U.S. 69 at MO 116 three miles east of Lathrop.
The driver stopped at the stop sign and then traveled into the path of an eastbound 2015 Chevy Silverado driven by Tom B. Tangen, 60, Polo. The Silverado struck the passenger side of the Camry.
Tri-County ambulance transported Dzilic and Tangen to Liberty. Hospital. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
