Steve Alan Madinger 69, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2025 in St. Joseph.
He was born September 11, 1956 in Wathena, KS, son of Ruth Tobin and the late Jake Madinger. He graduated from Wathena High School - Class of 1975. He worked at Rogers Pharmacy as a Delivery Driver. Steve enjoyed going to the casino and gambling at the slot machines. He was a simple man, who enjoyed the simple things in life.
Steve was preceded in death by his father, Jake Madinger.
Survivors include: his mother, Ruth Tobin, son, Joshua Madinger of Wathena, KS, daughters, Jennifer (John) Madinger of St. Joseph, MO, and Lisa (Robert) Smith of Wathena, KS, brothers, James (Karen) Hootman, Bill (Nita) Hootman, and Raymond (Sandie) Madinger, sisters, Gloria Butrum, Mary (Mike) Hubbard, and Sandra Huff, grandchildren, Hayley, Riley, Annelise, Addison, Jersey, Cylus, Khyler, and Kalie, and the mother of his children, Kathy Madinger.
Mr. Madinger has been cremated under the care of Rupp Funeral Home. There are no scheduled services at this time.
