Jacquetia Moore 1933 - 2025

Jacquetia Moore, better known as Jackie, 92, St. Joseph, Missouri passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2025.

She was born on January 31, 1933 to John W. Ahring and Mabel G. Bowman in Chanute, Kansas.

A proud graduate of high school, Jacquetia went on to establish a rewarding career with the Xerox Corporation, where she served as a Supervisor for over two decades. Her superior leadership and unwavering work ethic left a lasting impact on everyone who worked alongside her.

Jacquetia's altruistic spirit shone brightly through her volunteer work at The Open Door Food Kitchen of St. Joseph where she was always contributing her time and heart to those in need.

She enjoyed her family so much, cherishing every moment spent with them, especially her grandkids whom brought her immense joy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James Moore, her daughter Leesa R. Klingenberg, her son Ward S. Barnett, Jr., and her brother John W. Ahring, Jr. Jacquetia's enduring legacy continues through her sons, Anthony L. Barnett (Kathy) and Jeffery S. Barnett (Jeryl), her grandchildren Reid A. Barnett (Bailee), Hannah R. Garcia (Greg), Clinton D. Barnett, Mindy Barnett, Jonece McQuiston, Joshua Barnett and Tyler Klingenberg and her great-grandchildren Elliot, Oren, Georgia, Magnolia, Melanie and Delylah who will miss her profoundly.
