William “Bill” F. Allen, 102, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Sunday, December 3, 2023.
He was born August 19, 1921 to Otis C. and Helen M. (Davis) Allen in Winthrop, Missouri (East Atchison).
Bill married Ruth Martha Wick on June 10, 1945 and were married for 62 years before her passing in 2008.
He was in the United States Marine Corps during World War II and served in the South Pacific.
Bill worked as a graphic arts printer for several companies throughout the years.
He was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth; daughter, Pamela J. Brown; grandchild, Faith M. Brown; siblings, Margaret V. Wells, John P. Allen, Mary L. Bruns, and Otis T. Allen.
Survivors include his children, William P. Allen and Daniel M. Allen; grandchildren, Timothy S. Allen, Scott M. Allen, Rebecca A. Brubaker, Douglas M. Brown, Geoffrey A. Brown, and Logan S. Allen; great-grandchildren, Daniel W. Brubaker, Lillian A. Brubaker, Noelle R. Brown, Josephine H. Brown, Johnathon Pinkerman, and Logan Pinkerman.
