DAVIESS COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 9:30a.m. Monday in Daviess County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2001 Volkswagen Beetle driven by Destiney M. Clevenger, 18, Gallatin, was southbound on 252nd Street one and one half miles east of Gallatin.
The driver lost control of the vehicle. The Volkswagen traveled off the west side of the road and struck a tree. A private vehicle transported a passenger Jelexa D. Clevenger, 25, Gallatin, to Cameron Regional Medical Center. The driver was not injured. They were not wearing seat belts, according to the MSHP.
