A standoff late last night in St. Joseph ended peacefully.
St. Joseph police kept traffic away from the 2-Thousand block of 42nd Street for two hours as they negotiated with 19-year-old Kirkendoll Kaliff, who refused to surrender.
The standoff began at around 9 o’clock Thursday evening and ended at 11 last night when Kaliff gave up and came out of the house. Police took him into custody.
Kaliff is wanted on a probation and parole warrant and several Buchanan County warrants.
