Thomas “Tom Cat” C. Strathman, 54, Brayton, Iowa, passed away Monday, October 7, 2024.
He was born September 24, 1970, to Carl and Betty (Johnson) Strathman in Atchison, Kansas. He graduated from Atchison High School, and later earned his certification in welding.
Thomas worked as a welder at Snorkel for many years.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Atchison for many years.
Thomas had a passion for classic rock music, trucks, and riding motorcycles with his friends. He was known for being the life of the party and enjoying an ice-cold Budweiser.
He had a heart of gold and was willing to help anyone whenever he could.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Betty Strathman, and his sister, Karen Keil.
Survivors include his daughter, Cassie Strathman; siblings, Hazel Hartsock and Bill Hartsock; granddaughters, Stella and Hallie; best friends, Anthony Kasl and Paul Widner; and many cousins to cherish their memories of Thomas.
