Former NWMSU President Jasinski a finalist for Missouri State president

Former Northwest Missouri State University President John Jasinski is a finalist to become the next president of Missouri State University in Springfield.

Jasinski served as Northwest president in Maryville from 2009 to 2022. Jasinski became a provost at Missouri State in 2022 and is a senior consultant for the American Association of State College and Universities.

Jasinski is one of three finalists announced by the Missouri State University Board of Governors as a finalist to become the school’s next president.

The other two are Roger Thompson, vice president for student services and enrollment management at the University of Oregon and Richard Williams, president of Utah Tech University.
