ANDREW COUNTY —One person died in an accident just after 7p.m. Saturday in Andrew County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2024 Chevy Silverado driven by a 49-year-old Fairfax man was south on Interstate 29 BL at John Glenn Road in County Club Village. The pickup struck a 32-year-old St. Joseph man who had entered the roadway.
The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene and transported to Heaton-Bowman. The pickup driver was properly restrained and not injured. The patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
