BUCHANAN COUNTY— A St. Joseph man was injured in an accident just after 12:30p.m. Friday in Buchanan County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2003 Toyota 4Runner driven by Randy S. Buckles, 65, St. Joseph, was southbound on Interstate 29 near the U.S. 36 exit.
The SUV traveled off the east side of the road, through the median, continued across northbound lanes, struck a guardrail and overturned while going down an embankment.
Buchanan County EMS transported Buckles to Mosaic Life Care. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
