Judy Kay Cottrill 62, of St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Thursday, May 29, 2025 in St. Joseph. She was born May 11, 1963 in Antioch, CA, daughter of, the late Charlotte Greer and Larry Angst. She enjoyed flowers and gardening, playing with her grand babies, and you could always find her relaxing on her porch, probably smoking a cigarette.
Judy was preceded in death by mother and father, Charlotte & Jack Greer, father, Larry Angst, husband, Emmett Cottrill, brothers, Teddy Angst, Terry Angst, and Phillip Greer. Survivors include daughter, Tiffany Holmes of the home, son, Michael Ellis, sisters, Carla Dozier of St. Joseph, MO, Christy (Brandon) Sale of Saint Joseph, MO, Robin McDowell, and Jodie (Kent) Barnett of St. Joseph, MO, brothers, Jackie Ray Greer, and Kelly Angst, and grandchildren, Raya, Taya, Trevor, and Aubrieanna.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 6:00 PM on Monday, June 2, 2025 at Rupp Funeral Home. Funeral services and public live stream; 6:00 pm, Monday, June 2, 2025 at Rupp Funeral Home. Memorials are requested to the Judy Cottrill Memorial Fund in Care of Rupp Funeral Home.
