GENTRY COUNTY—Two people were injured in an accident just before 3:30p.m. Tuesday in Gentry County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse driven by Travis J. Vasey, 31, Trenton, was westbound on MO 8 at the west city limits of Galt.
The car traveled off the north side of the road. The driver overcorrected and the car traveled off the south side of the road, struck an embankment, overturned, struck several trees and rolled onto its top.
Lifeflight transported Vasey to Truman Medical Center. Grundy Co. EMS transported a passenger Dakota W. Dalton, 26, Humphreys to Wright Memorial Hospital. The MSHP did not report seat belt information.
