BROWN COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Kansas felon on new charges after an investigation.
On June 27, deputies investigating criminal activity on and or near the Kickapoo reservation applied for and received a $50,000 Brown County warrant for Joseph Ross, 46, of Horton for Felony Aggravated Assault, Felony Criminal Threat and Battery.
Topeka police arrested Ross without incident. Ross has previous convictions for criminal damage to property, criminal deprivation of a motor vehicle and DUI, according to the Kansas Department of Corrections.
