Nancy Teaford, 74, of Union Star, MO passed away, March 9, 2026.
She was born on September 28, 1951 to Leland and Lela Mae (Townsend) Hailey in King City, MO. Nancy grew up in Union Star and graduated from Union Star High School. She lived in Union Star most of her life, where she raised her family.
Nancy worked at Walmart as a department manager in St. Joseph for 31 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and attending her grandchildren’s events. She was a member of the Union Star Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Neal Hailey; sister, Nena Hailey; and her daughter, Tonya Maize.
Nancy is survived by her children, Brent (Lucinda) Teaford and Treska (David) Clemmensen; son-in-law, Steve Maize; grandchildren, Ethan Hall, Gavin Hall, Simon Maize, Avery Clemmensen, and Alec Clemmensen; great-grandchildren, Rheagan and Evan Hall; sister-in-law, Mary Hailey; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Memorial Service: 4:00 p.m. Friday, March 13th at the Union Star Baptist Church in Union Star, MO with visitation one hour prior to the service.
