William “Bill” Albert McNemee,73, passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at his home in Highland, Kansas.
Bill was born on November 18, 1952, in St. Joseph, Missouri to John Albert and Barbara (Throckmorton) McNemee.
He attended the Community of Christ Church, Fanning, Kansas. Bill retired from Snorkel of Elwood, Kansas. Bill was a dedicated, hard worker. He began his work life at age fourteen, pulling nails out of boards & finally became part owner of Custom Cable, before it closed in his thirties. Bill was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved watching his kids and grandkids at their activities.
Bill married Darlene Kafer (Whetstine), on June 19, 1999, in Fanning, Kansas. She survives of the home.
Additional survivors, daughters, Tonya McNemee and Tracey Klaus (Kenny); Stepchildren, Rilie Kafer and Michael Kafer; Grandchildren, Kelby, Destiny, Brody, Courtney, Brittany, Kaden, Ian and Bella; 6 great-grandchildren; Siblings, Jeanie McNemee, Kay Jones (Donnie), and Robin McNemee (Pam); Numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial Service: 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 3, 2025, at the Community of Christ Church, Fanning, Kansas.
Visitation: 9-11 A.M. prior to service at the church.
Inurnment at a later date.
