Helen Good was the last of eight children born to Harry and Lucinda Berringer Strine in Waldo, Ohio where she grew up and graduated high school.
She married Bryon Good who served in World War II. After he returned from the War, he spent his working life teaching at Michigan State University in the Animal Science Dept. before retiring. He and Helen established a small family farm in the Lansing, Michigan area where they raised their family.
Their faith was a very important part of their life: They were charter members of University Lutheran Church at East Lansing, Michigan where they faithfully attended and raised their family
Helen died October 9, 2020 at Vintage Park in Hiawatha at the age of 100. She moved from Michigan to Vintage Park about 6 years ago to be near her family.
Survivors include her children George Good of Randchester, WY, Suzan Smith of Hiawatha, KS, and Sarah Cotton of St. Joseph, MO, 9 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, and husband Byron.
Her wish was to be cremated with her remains inurned next to her husband. The family will have a private service at Deepdale Memorial Park in Lansing, Michigan tentatively the end of October.
