Mosaic Life Care has now tested more than 18,000 area residents and reports nine COVID-19 patients in the St. Joseph hospital as of Thursday morning.
Mosaic says of the 18,167 people tested, 844 have tested positive for the coronavirus. Mosaic is awaiting results from 244 tests.
Buchanan County reports a total of 1,070 cases of the coronavirus since the counting began; 948 confirmed and 122 probable. Buchanan County has reported a total of 10 deaths.
Andrew County reports 80 cases while Doniphan County, Kansas reports 41.
The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services reports a total of 46,750 cases since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic. The state has recorded 1,220 deaths.
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment reports 26,870 total cases with 349 deaths.
