BUCHANAN COUNTY— One person was injured in an accident just after 8:30a.m. Wednesday in Buchanan County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2021 Volvo tractor driven by Robert P. Hamkens, 54, Sioux Falls, SD, was southbound on Interstate 29 just north of MO 6.
The vehicle traveled off the east side of the road, struck the median cables and came to rest on its side. Debris from the crash struck a northbound 2020 Ford Transit 250 driven by Gregory L. Kerns, 50, Stewartsville.
Buchanan County EMS transported Hamkens to Mosaic Life Care. Kerns was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
