Edna Vergie Lopez 53, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Friday, February 27, 2026 in St. Joseph.
She was born July 3, 1972 in Salem, OR of the late Rosella and Wayne Standish Sr. She married her husband Bill in 2018, and together they made a beautiful family. Edna LOVED her puppies, she was a dog breeder. She currently had 3 she was taking care of, but it was often way more. You could always find her crocheting, reading, or playing pool, and she was always down to gamble and usually won. Above all, Edna loved and cherished her family.
Edna was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Harold Standish. Survivors include: husband, Bill Lopez of the home, brothers, Wayne Standish and Kenneth Standish, daughters, Victoria Carney, Hali (Keith Allen) Carney, Precious (Jeff Drake) Lopez, Trinity (Santiago) Lopez, and Billie Jo (Austin) Day, sons, Trevor Coffelt, Jerome (Sarah Sollars) Carney Jr., and Trenton (Bianca Rodriguez) Lopez, 27 grandchildren, and multiple nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Lopez has been cremated under the care of Rupp Funeral Home. There are no scheduled services at this time. Memorials are requested to the Edna Lopez Memorial Fund.
