A St. Joseph man was charged Friday evening in connection with the death of a six year old girl.&nbsp;

The St. Joseph Police Department reports Dustin L. Beechner has been charged with Class A felony abuse of a child resulting in a death.&nbsp; Beechner is being held without bond.

The charge comes from the St. Joseph Police Departments investigation into the death of a six year old early Friday morning in the area of 32nd and Mitchell.
