June Ide Davis, 92, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Friday, July 7, 2023.
She was born June 30, 1931 in Tacoma, Washington, to William and Edith (Schnugger) Starkell. She grew up in Tacoma, then moved to San Diego in her early 20s. She then moved to Santa Clara, then Fremont, California, where she raised her children and was an accountant for the Santa Clara Public School District. Upon retirement, she relocated to St. Joseph.
June married Frederick Davis on February 17, 1996. He preceded her in death.
A very fun-loving and sweet woman, June enjoyed playing Bingo and going to casinos.
She was preceded in death by husbands, Fred Ide and Fred Davis; her parents; daughters, Wendy Cooper and Kathy Jolly; and grandson, Zach Jolly.
Survivors include her children, Fred Ide (Crystal), Warren Ide, Neal Barnes (Terri), and Stacy Silva (Joe); seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The room will be open to the public 8:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. Friday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Inurnment Memorial Park Cemetery.
