Charles W. "Bill" Roberts, Jr., 85, of rural St. Joseph passed away peacefully around his family on Tuesday, April 4, 2023. He was born March 29, 1938 in St. Joseph, son of Georgia (Stout) and Charles Roberts.
Bill owned and operated Robert's Sandblasting for over 30 years. He was a member of the Laborer's Union. He loved tinkering with cars and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Charles was preceded in death by wife, Judy Ann Roberts, his parents, sons, Thomas Roberts and Christopher Roberts and sister, Janet Meadow.
Survivors include children, Charles (Cheryl) Roberts III, of De Kalb, MO, Delia (Glenn) Hughes of Oregon, MO, and Charlene Roberts of St. Joseph, sister, Norma (Gerald) Ott of Cosby, MO and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews,
Mr. Roberts has been cremated under the care of Rupp Funeral Home.
