BUCHANAN COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 7:30p.m. Wednesday in Buchanan County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2013 Toyota passenger vehicle driven by Alicia D. Halpin, 56, Glen Carbin, IL., was northbound on Interstate 29 two miles north of Faucett in a construction zone.
The car struck an arrow sign, a parked 2015 Chevy pickup, traveled off the east side of the road and struck a guard rail.
The car returned to the road, traveled off the west side of the road and struck a median cable.
Buchanan County ambulance transported Halpin to Mosaic Life Care. She was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP.
