Jeffrey Glen (Shakey) Kerr passed on Oct 28th peacefully in his home in Hiawatha KS. Born on December 13, 1952 in Kansas City MO, he is preceded in death by his parents Don and Gail Kerr, his wife Brenda and brothers Jerry and Jim.
Survived by sons Michael Buckles of Kansas City Mo and Jeffrey (Jacklyn) of Hiawatha Ks and 6 grandchildren Blade, Jeffrey, Brendon, Levi, Jadon and Charlotte.
A man who enjoyed motorcycles would be an understatement. His love for the open road and the brotherhood that came with his fellow riders could not be competed with. He was an active and proud member of the Galloping Gooses MC for 40+ years of his adult life. Forming life long friendships that could only be found with fellow enthusiasts. His companion by his side these last few years was his bulldog Bully whom he was rarely seen without.
His greatest joy however was his “baby girl” granddaughter Charlotte “Charlee” whom he doted on as often as he could. Often showing up with root beer floats and ice cream sandwich’s much to her parents' to dismay.
He will be a man sorely missed by many people far and wide.
It was his wish to be cremated with services to be held in Kansas City at a later date.
Chapel Oaks Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
