MERCER COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 2:30p.m. Friday in Mercer County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2012 Nissan Murano driven by Jhonatan Sanchez-Arce, 27, Princeton, was southbound on U.S. 65 two miles south of Princeton.
The SUV rear-ended the towed unit of a 2005 GMC 2500 driven by Nicholas S. Grooms, 19, Princeton, that had slowed in traffic to make a left turn on Route E.
The impact pushed the towed unit into the bumper and trailer of the GMC. The Nissan skidded into the north lane and rolled.
EMS transported Sanchez-Arce and a 1-year-girl in the Nissan to Wright Memorial Hospital. The child and Grooms were not injured. All three were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
