J. Diane Redden, 70, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Friday, January 16, 2026.
She was born September 4, 1955 in St. Joseph to F.W. “Tuck” and Dorothy (Hill) Turner. She grew up in Whitesville, Missouri, and graduated from King City High School. She later attended Missouri Western State University.
On June 9, 2001, Diane married Michael Redden. He preceded her in death on October 24, 2012.
Diane enjoyed being involved in social activities, which led to her volunteering with the Salvation Army. She also was a member of First Baptist Church in Savannah, Missouri.
She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandson, and was very proud of her grandson who served in the U.S. Navy. She also was a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael; her parents; and brother, Tony Kirk Halter.
Survivors include children, Aaron Blohm (Ashley) and Kaila Tignor (Garrett); grandchildren, Aaronn, Lauren, Lillian-Rose, Mya Blohm, and Lennon Tignor; great-grandson, Archer Blohm; siblings, Louis “Marty” Halter, Tina Blackmer, and Frederica Mennon; other extended family and friends.
The family will gather with friends 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 28, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. The family requests contributions to Diane’s Funeral Fund.
