NODAWAY—Two people were injured in an accident just after 3:30p.m. Friday in Nodaway County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 1997 Ford F150 driven by 77-year-0ld Joan A. Wescott of Hopkins, was southbound on Katy Road one mile south of Hopkins.
The driver lost control of the the vehicle. It traveled off the road and overturned. the driver was ejected and a passenger was partially ejected.
Air Evac transported Wescott to KU Medical Center. Nodaway County ambulance transported a 14-year-old male passenger to Mosaic Life Care. They were not wearing seat belts, according to the MSHP.
