BUCHANAN COUNTY—Three people were injured in an accident just after 7p.m. Sunday in Buchanan County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2015 Hyundai Tucson driven by Jeremy D. Long, 46, St. Joseph, was eastbound on MO 6 at NE River Ridge Road.
The SUV rear-ended a 2010 Toyota Corolla driven by Karen S. Gibbs, 61, St. Joseph, who was stopped to turn north.
Buchanan County EMS transported Long and passengers in the Toyota Rick Bailey, 63, and Lois Magg, 82, both of St. Joseph to Mosaic Life Care. Gibbs was not injured. All four were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
