ANDREW COUNTY —Five people were injured in an accident just after 5:30p.m. Tuesday in Andrew County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2023 Ford F150 driven by Dennis M. Newman, 71, Kansas City, Missouri, was at an intersection on Highway T two miles west of Savannah.
The driver failed to yield to a westbound 2003 Pontiac Grand Am driven by Robin L. Bowman, 40, Savannah. The pickup struck the drivers side of the car.
Andrew County EMS transported Newman, Bowman and three children age 8, 12, and 14 in the car to Mosaic Life Care. All five were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
