Jean Louise Keene, 75, of Saint Joseph, MO, passed away peacefully on February 24th, 2023, in the comfort of her home.
Jean was born on January 24th, 1948, in Saint Joseph, MO, to Hensley and Lois (Richards) Harper.
Jean married Michael “Mike” Keene on August 26, 1966, and they had two daughters, Lura Williamson and Wendy Brendle.
Jean was a retired dental assistant. Jean enjoyed weekends camping with her husband, flowers of all sorts, animals especially dogs, and spending time with her family. She was a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs. However, she loved nothing more than becoming a great-grandmother.
Jean is preceded in death by her husband, Mike, on September 9th, 2005, parents, and brother Larry Harper.
Jean is survived by her daughters, Lura Williamson of Saint Joseph, MO, and Wendy (John) Brendle of Gower, MO; grandchildren, Hillary (Pete) Contreras, Molley (Robbie) Davis, Abbey Williamson, and Garrett (Madison) Brendle; great-grandson, Korbin Davis; sister, Darlene (Roy) Conner; numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog Rocky.
The family will receive visitors on Thursday from 6pm-8pm at Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel.
The family will have a private inurnment at a later date.
