The St. Joseph Health Department on Friday reported a fifth COVID-19 death.
According to the health department, the individual was a man in his 60s. This is the second reported death in Buchanan County this week due to COVID-19.
As of Friday, the Health Department is reporting a total of 961 cases in Buchanan County since counting began. That includes 858 confirmed cases and 103 probable cases.
