The Buchanan County Sheriff's Office responded to a call Friday night around 10 PM, described as an explosion with multiple injuries. The Office requested help from ATF in the response, for safety purposes and standard in this situation.
Upon arrival to the area, around 16000 SW 91st Road, and with ATF assistance, it was determined to not be a standard explosion but instead compressed air under pressure.
Four people were taken from the scene by ambulance, two of whom were released within a few hours of the incident.
The situation is being investigated at this time, and appears to be an accident rather than intentional.
