Sharon R. Strein-Rockbridge 1967 - 2023

Sharon Rae Strein-Rockbridge “Sherry”, 55, of Leavenworth, KS passed away on March 13, 2023, at Providence Medical Center. Her family and friends are deeply saddened and shocked by her death. Sharon was born in Keams Canyon, Arizona, to Hilda Rockbridge, on June 18, 1967.  

Sharon attended and graduated from Leavenworth High School where she met her life-long friend of 37 years Belinda Collier. On October 25, 2022, Sharon was awarded a certificate of recognition for Thirty Years of service in the Government of the United States of American as a Library Technician at Ike Skelton Combined Arms Research Library (CARL) in Fort Leavenworth.

Sharon was preceded in death by her spiritual husband, Charles Edward Jamerson III “Trey” (December 21, 2021), son Dakota Clifford Eugene Strein “Deko” (April 7, 2019), Grandmother Ella Rockbridge (March 2, 2019) and her sister Serphina Evenson “Kitty” (October 1, 2020)

Sharon is survived and forever cherished by her mother Hilda Rockbridge, and her daughters Reno Rae and Winter Dawn Strein. She is also survived by her brothers Edward Evenson “Eddie”, Keith and John Lemke, nieces Damian Guardado “Miyu” and Madison Lemke, nephews Lance Patty and Shane Carnoali, stepdaughters Jordan and Kendell Jamerson, and stepsons Brendan and CJ Jamerson.

Through the years, Sharon enjoyed camping and attending concerts with her late spiritual Husband ‘Trey’ Jamerson, reading, sharing laughter, and spending time with her friends. Her children were the light of her life. She was an amazing mother, sister, aunt, cousin, colleague and friend. She touched the lives of so many people. She will truly be missed and will never, ever, be forgotten.

Visitation will be Friday, March 17, 2023, 4 to 6 P.M. at Davis Funeral Chapel.
