ANDREW COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just before 4:30p.m. Wednesday in Andrew County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2021 Hyundai Kina driven by a 34-year-old Savannah man was northbound in the driving lane of Business 71 at CR 364 three miles south of Savannah.
The driver attempted to pass a 2012 Honda Civic driven by a 16-year-old Savannah girl as she slowed down to make a left turn. The Honda struck the Hyundai in the right front wheel well.
Andrew County EMS transported the driver of the Hyundai and a 58-year-old female passenger in the Honda to Mosaic Life Care. The teen driver was not injured. All three were properly restrained, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
