PLATTE COUNTY—Two men were injured in an accident just after 1p.m. Monday in Platte County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2009 Honda Civic driven by Jason A. Squires, 41, Kansas City, was southbound on Interstate 29 at 112th Street.
The driver lost control of the Honda and it struck a southbound 2020 Acura MPV driven by Paul M. Houseman, 54, Parkville. Both vehicles then struck the bridge barrier.
EMS transported Houseman to North Kansas City Hospital. Squires was seeking his own treatment for a minor injury. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
