Barbara Delores Moran Stevenson, 89, of St. Joseph Missouri passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2026 in a local hospital.
She was born April 13, 1936 in St. Joseph, MO, daughter of Paul and Elizabeth VanCleave. She graduated from Lafayette High School and worked at Nellie Don, Big Smith and State Hospital as a seamstress and supervisor.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Brenda Moran and brother Bernard VanCleave. Survivors include son, Randy (Julie) Moran of Easton, MO, granddaughters Jessica (Pete) Harrington of Faucett MO, and Amy (Sean) Patterson of Brentwood NH, six great grandchildren, andsister-in-law Ruth VanCleave.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Sunday at the Rupp Funeral Home. Funeral services and public live stream 10:00 AM Monday March 30, 2026 at the Rupp Funeral Home. The Interment will be at Ashland Cemetery.
