David Charles “Dyno” Clinton, 71, Gower, Missouri, passed away Monday, December 16, 2024.
He was born May 27, 1953 in Van Nuys, California to Hollis and Thelma (Miller) Clinton. He grew up in California and spent a few years in Hawaii, which he loved.
David’s family later moved to the St. Joseph/Agency, Missouri area, where he met Bonnie Elaine Tolbert. The couple married on July 16, 1977, and shared 47 years together.
He worked as a mechanic for several auto-related businesses, including Bunton’s, Wiedmaier’s, I&M Machine, Weld Wheels, Midas, and Leaverton’s. Always up for an adventure, David also traveled with the Monster Truck Shows, most notably getting to work on Bigfoot.
David was an outgoing guy who made friends wherever he went, he loved to share his knowledge with everyone. He also enjoyed classic rock, country, and some Johnny Cash songs.
David leaves behind a legacy of love, knowledge, and precious memories for his family to treasure.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and nephew, John Clinton.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie; children, Rebecca Clinton, Melissa Cox (Daniel), and Jeremy Clinton; grandchildren, Chance, Liam, Grayson, and Sawyer; siblings, his twin brother Dan Clinton, Don Clinton, and Debbie Clinton; numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family members and friends; and his beloved dog, Lulu.
Farewell Services and Public Livestream 1:00 P.M. Monday, December 30, Abundant Life Center. The family will gather with friends 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. Sunday, December 29, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory.
