David "Leroy" Robertson, 72, passed away on March 2, 2024, in Savannah, MO. Born on November 1, 1951, in St. Joseph, MO, to William W. and Della T. (Hahn) Robertson, Leroy grew to be a steadfast presence in his community, known for his generous heart and tireless work ethic.
Leroy married Tammy Sue Malotte on March 19, 1982.
Leroy's legacy is carried on by his wife, Tammy; son, Blake Robertson; sisters, Marie Lee, Carol Wolf, and Debbie Robertson; and numerous nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his cherished dogs, Hopper and Ozzy. Leroy was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Larry, Donnie, Ronnie, and Buck Robertson; and his son, Lucas Robertson.
Leroy's professional life was marked by dedication and skill. He spent significant years with Roderick Sign Company and Ross Frazier, before ending his career with a 20-year stint at Lowes, welcomed into retirement by the numerous friendships he had made along the way.
Beyond his professional commitments, Leroy was an avid deer hunter and fisherman. His kindness knew no bounds, as he was always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need, reflecting a spirit of service that deeply touched all who knew him.
