DONIPHAN COUNTY—Two people were injured in an accident just after 6p.m. Saturday in Doniphan County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Scott B. Hoffman, 58, Wathena, was southbound on Randolph Road and attempted to turn east onto US 36.
A westbound 2014 Chevy Cruz driven by Devan J. Rule, 23, Liberty, Nebraska, t-boned the Pontiac. After impact the Pontiac came to rest in the south ditch of U.S. 36.
EMS transported Hoffman and a passenger Sherri R Seymour, 55. St. Joseph, to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph. Rule was not injured. Hoffman was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
